update on the speeding ticket
Taking things to court can work in ones advantage. I plead guilty with explination and was granted probation before judgment aka no points unless I do somthing stupid and get another ticket then i get the points for both. Plus the fine was reduced big time!!!! The only thing that baffled me was when I went to pay the fine the court did everything it could to make me not pay it. To use a credit card they were slapping on a sliding fee the more the fine the more they charge to use a card. For me it was going to be $9. So I went and used the atm. That only costed me $2 which is reasonable. The thing is they dont give change. So my $100.50 fine was going to be $120 because all I had were twenty dollar bills. Luckilly a nice cop over heard me getting into an argument with the clerk and came over and gave me fifty cents. Well lucky for me because my guess is if he hadn't done that I would now be in jail.
